Ask for Description

When we ask for description of someone or something, we can use: 'what' + to be + 'like'?

• What is your bike like?
• What is the weather like in winter?
• What is Indonesian food like?

We usually don't use the word 'like' in the answer, unless we are comparing two things.

• The weather is wet and cold.
• The weather in winter is not like rain season in your country.
